    Default What does this meeeaaannnn.

Everytime I log in, on the server button it's replaced with a message saying,
"The server did not recognize the URL and could not download."
I tried logging off and on, and that didn't work.
I tried restarting the computer, and that didn't work.
I tried using another browser, and that didn't work.

Sometimes I have glitches where the game won't let me log in for a day or so. Is the message also covering the 'Play' button?

The URL is the website address.. It seems like you're having communication problems between your game and the website for some reason. Did this glitch happen after FR went down for a patch? It's possible that the game didn't download correctly and you'll have to unintall FR and redownload it.

If that doesn't work, you should probably send in a ticket. They're experts in this kind of stuff so they can help. I would wait a while before you do anything though; it could just need some time to work itself out. If it's been a few days since that message started popping up, then go ahead. 8]

    Good luck!

No, it has replaced the play button entirely, it's not covering it up whatsoever (:
I guess it did happen after the patch... it's been happening for a few days now, so I haven't been on at all, I guess I will send a ticket..!

Thanks for helping me! I really appreciate it(:

This has happened to me before, but it usually clears up right away o: Maybe it's your firewall, ad-block, etc..? That's what could be preventing you from downloading the content, which usually happens a lot with many programs. But most programs aren't actually harmful, like Freerealms. It could also be your internet connection. So, try disabling your firewall, ad-block, or whatever you think is blocking it. Reinstalling Freerealms is also another way to go. c:

I'm not very tech savvy, but Freerealms has had enough problems for me to know more about this kind of stuff.

I found this on the FR site, if it helps at all:

To lower your security settings and fix the problem, please follow these instructions:

    For Internet Explorer:
    1) Click on Tools
    2) Click Internet Options
    3) Click on the Security tab
    4) Move the slider bar down to "Medium"

    For Google Chrome:
    1) Click on the Wrench icon
    2) Click on Settings
    3) Click on Show Advanced Settings
    4) Under Privacy click on Content Settings
    5) Under Pop-ups click Manage Exceptions
    6) Under Hostname Pattern enter "http://www.freerealms.com/" then hit Ok
    7) Hit Ok to save changes and exit the Content Settings window
If the game still doesn't run, try doing the same with Cookies and JavaScript

    For Mozilla Firefox:
    1) Click on Tools
    2) Click Options
    3) Click on the Security tab
    4) Click on the Exceptions button, and add "http://www.freerealms.com"
    5) Click Allow, and then Close

Don't stress over what could've been, chances are if it should've been, it would've been.

This is also a good idea. 8] Changing your firewall so the whole internet is filtered differently can be dangerous though.. It's possible that your virus protection could consider FR a threat or something and you might have to allow it somehow. Mine started considering FR a threat after the last patch and I had to go through my settings to allow it. Make sure you ask your parents first before messing with your firewall or virus protection. Good luck!

    And you're welcome. 8]

Maybe you need to re-download the game. That way you can bypass all your anti-virus system,if you have one. Or so you can reput your URL into the server.

@Difference: I tried doing that to Internet Explorer but it still doesn't work! I really appreciate your help though!
@Zalesana: That may be the problem, but we will never know.. o:

    I would re-install the game...if I had known how..

    Sometimes that happens to me...

I half to wait a day, sometimes disconnet from the internet thingy.
    Ex: westell/YoungEagle-guest

Then I wait like an hour or so (SO long!!!) and get back on. If that doesn't work,I plug it in then wait a bit then back in. I hope this helped.

And I have NO idea what a browser is
Is it the homepage? *please say yes*

    I hope this helped.
