And after you've taken and saved the picture, you just need to upload it to be used as an avatar. To do so, click Settings (which is at the top of the page), scroll down, and select Edit Avatar. It's on the left side; you'll probably have to look under the advertisement.

Use Option 2 if the picture is saved on your computer.
Status: Quit FR since I never liked FR at all. Will probably not post anymore.

Get set to take a picture on free realms then hit PrtSc SysRq on your computer Then Alt tab out go to Paint right click and click Paste ..you will have your picture there you can edit it

When you have your photo saved go to Settings up top on FRI then scroll down to My settings Click Edit Profile Picture Or Edit Avatar then you can up load it from there

Hope this was Helpful to you. ^_^

Well basically all you have to do is go in the game, and when you find the picture you want, press the PrtScrn button on your keyboard, It should be near the top right corner. Then go out of that game and go to paint or any other program like it and click paste, and it should paste the pic on there. When you're done editing it, save it and then go to FRI and edit avatar, and you'll see where it says custom avatar. Click upload image and upload it, and there ya go!! ^_^
