    Default What do you guys think?

    Just thought of the best recipe ever watching Iron Chef.

    Soyrizo+diced portobello bbq spaghettiiiiiiiii!

    I agree, it sounds quite nasty at first, but you really can't beat soyrizo and pasta, and bbq pasta.

    Any ideas on what could be added?

    I'ma saute the soyrizo and mushrooms in diced onions, garlic, some Earth Balance, and fresh basil on the grill for a little smokiness, then mix in cooked pasta in the end.

    Woot! I'm not weird then lol. Soyrizo is basically vegan chorizo. It's got the spicy taste which I thought would be interesting with the bbq sauce. I know that soyrizo rocks with pasta but not sure how mixing it all together will be <.<

    I don't know what what Soyrizo is, and I don't like mushrooms. But oh my, that sounds super delicious!!!

    Noo O.O I pratically live off of mushrooms nowadays. That and eggplant are the only two veggies that have a rich, thick texture without carbs.

    I had to drive half way across the city cause somebody didn't want regular pasta and the only vegan whole wheat pasta the closest store had looked like tree branches in a box (ewww). Whole wheat pasta isn't as bad as most people think as long as it's of decent quality (can't tell the diff in the end). I got these lovelies:

    Whole wheat pasta isn't that bad of a taste. We don't get whole wheat pasta anymore, we get the vegetable pasta that comes in different colors (beige, green, and orange).

    I haven't found any of those in anything cept like medium shells, fusilli, and farfalle :O If I see it in spaghetti or linguine form, I'll def try some!

    I mean, I like pasta al dente, but some lower quality whole wheat pasta has a horrible, grainy taste and I hate that. We get this for the fiber tho. It's about 2x or more the fiber of just about any other kinda pasta P:
