Good Day Kookeys! How is everyone doing today?

Here's a good social studies topic.

The presidential election process has begun, with primaries and caucuses beginning to occur across the United States.

How does the primary and caucus process work? Can anyone tell me?

Aren't the primary's when people vote for who's gonna be on the ballet? I think mine's happening in about 2 weeks. I heard Clinton won in a few places.

They are when you vote for the democratic and republican candidate. There's only one in each, and then who wins the election is president.
I'm smart for my age. LOL!

Here's a link of who won so far.

Oh cool link Kitten, I like NPR.

The candidates who get the most votes in each primary or caucus get the most delegates to the national convention. The candidate who has the most delegates at the national convention is the party's nominee for president in the general election.
