    Icon9 Earth Hour

I think that the Earth Hour it's a wonderfull project to save the planet.Did you know that 109 countries and over 1733 cities have signed up to go dark for an hour? And it's growing up the number of countries and cities who want to join.Earth Hour is about raising awareness of climate change issues and encourages people to switch off lights for one hour once a year.
I think that all will turn off the light? Right?Tell your opinion about Earth Hour.

Make new friends, but keep the old. One is silver, the other is gold.

It's 8:30, at your local time zone, I think... o_o;; If anything, it's apparently in 4days, 13hours, 44minutes for me, MDT.

But I'm not exactly sure >_<

Sometimes I find it really hard to do it at the time they have set up --coz that is when I can be busiest! Instead (if I am home), I like to choose another peek hour in the area and turn off everything for an hour and read in the daylight. Its really nice on a sunny day!

There are a lot of areas that consider there peek time to be between 9am to 5pm - because of all the business' that draw on power at that time..Just something else for you to consider if you are at home on Earth Day (doesn't count if you are not! Its about making an effort to power down).

On another note. Did you know a lot of electronic devices draw power while power downed? Most things now have a little LCD light or other feature that continues to run to let you know it is powered down -- that draws on electricity! If you unplug the item, you will remove that power source... Just make sure you can plug it in again afterwards!

It is a great day to raise some awareness - but there is so much more we can do all year around!

Thomas Edison's last words were 'It's very beautiful over there'.
I don't know where there is, but I believe it's somewhere, and I hope it's beautiful.
