I agree. I've never had a pet dig up treasure. They just have green exclamation marks floating overhead.

If there are green exclamation marks floating above your pet's head, it means there was a treasure in that particular location a moment ago. This means that some other pet has already dug up that treasure.

I've only been playing for a couple of weeks, but I do have two pets -- deer and dino. They seem to pick up a few treasure chests a day (two/three) most of the time if I leave them out all the time. This might just be me, but this always seems to work -- whenever they're having a bad day, I go and rent a pet, or whatever you call it when you try one out. Then I go run into Sanctuary, just around the city streets, and the part-time pet almost always finds a chest there. YMMV

THREE!! I finally got 3! Two with my dog, one with the reindeer (cat's too busy purring).
Two were at Snowhill warp stone and one just south of it. I had none forever before this.
Just too slow for me.

I wish my pet can find something or anything. I have her for almost a month now and I even bring her on the treasure spotted areas but still no luck. I was thinking maybe she won't find any treasure because she isn't meant for treasure hunting.
