They released an SC item Called The Giving Tree. You could buy one, place it on your lot and you could collect a prize from it for 30days. The prizes were random and included items such as the tacky sweaters, other winterwear clothes and even Rides/Mounts. I know this cause I went crazy and bought LOTS of them. Like, more than 80 or more, I think!
Since that year when they released the Giving Trees they never brought them back :/
Now i'm wondering if they will bring the Pinata back next year or not.
They didn't re-release the Giving Trees, which makes me think they may not re-release the Pinatas that gave the Balloon weapons. Which would make balloon weapons (mixable balloon weapons) hard to get.

I've been getting the tacky sweaters from the daily quests that Candi Ivy gives, but I can't seem to get a Tacky Snowman Sweater. It's the only one I need.
Each Event is preceded by Prophecy. But without the hero, there is no Event.
