UPDATE: KadenSkycliff just received this reply to the ticket he submitted.
"Hello, We were having issues with the Toys R Us Station Cash cards, but i do believe you should get the double station cash when using those cards now."
They credited his account with the correct amount of station cash. So it appears that the Toys R Us cards are now working.
FreeRealmsInsider member KadenSkycliff purchased a $25 Station Cash card from Toys R Us and entered the code this weekend, hoping to cash in on double rewards. When he discovered his amount of SC did NOT double he went to a ref for help only to be told that Toys R Us cards are NOT included in this weekend's promotion.
A closer look at the New Release information about the Double Station Cash Weekend might confirm what he was told which was that Toys R Us is the only retailer not participating in the program. The ad does not feature the Toys R Us logo and the text states "Simply buy any pre-paid FreeRealms Station Cash retail game card (excluding Free Realms Starter Cards) at any of our participating retailers..."
The news ad indicates the following retailers are participating:
7-Eleven
Best Buy
Blockbuster
Rite Aid
Target
While the ad does appear to indicate such an issue, even we were surprised to hear this information as it wasn't overtly obvious. Thanks to KadenSkycliff for bringing up this important issue!
