We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting another trading card event in the Official SOE TCG Event area - as shown below on the calendar! This event will be open for all players starting and experienced in the trading card games and all players will be eligible for great prizes too. Come out and play fellow FreeRealmsInsider.com members and the staff!
This Tournament will run on FRI-day March 19th in Free Realms from 8:59pm to 11:59pm and will feature some fantastic prizes! All players who complete at least one match will receive 1,000 coins and the Pixie Party Hat Trading Card. These are the rest of the awesome prizes:
Card Duelist Shirt - Awarded to all players from 1st to 16th place.
Vittorio - Awarded to all players from 1st to 12th place.
Thar She Blows! - Awarded for winning at least 3 games.
Card Champion's Case - Awarded to the player in 1st place.
Champion's Tournament Winnings (5,000 coins!) - Awarded to the Player in 1st Place.
Be sure to bring your "A" game and we hope to see you all there!

Thanks everyone who made it to my birthday party bash! It was a huge success!
for those of you who didn't make it, here's a little wrap-up of the event!
We started off in the Stillwater party location, which was far too tiny for the massive crowd that squeezed in as the party went on.
It got so big, we decided to begin our parade up through Lakeshore and into the Durango Zoo to continue the party!
From there, a lucky bunch of folk got to group up with me to level up my combat jobs up to 20! It was a very successful night!
And speaking of lucky, time to reveal who wins my Duelist on Demand TCG card code!
The amount of comments left wishing me a happy birthday was so overwhelming, I decided to give away TWO of my card codes! Without further ado, here's our 2 randomly chosen winners!

Pssst! Hey you! Yes you, the one staring right into the computer screen! You're invited to my birthday party bash!
It all starts at the Stillwater Party location (the area that is a part of the stillwater crossing exploration collection) just east of the Stillwater Crossing warpstone, right behind Fernando Flexsteel of the brawler quests.
We will see how many people we can fit into that tiny location, then when it's a little too crowded, we will have a parade-run north towards Lakeshore and head towards the Durango Zoo to continue the party!
After that, we'll head to a battle area where several can group up with me to help max out my combat jobs to celebrate!

Thanks to all who entered yesterday's FRI-Day contest! There were so many fantastic stories and theories about the end of Free Realms. The FRI staff collaborated and selected Masaaki as the winner of the Spider Bite Sword Code! A random drawing was held from all entrants and Zachpuppy was drawn as the winner of the Traffic Cone Hat VR.

Free Realms went down earlier this afternoon to remove the Festival of Hearts and brought some exciting changes to the Station Cash Store. The Update featured new Rides which included a new Spotted T-rex and Scaled Dragon. Both come in a variety of great colors ranging from Pretty Pinks to Black and Whites once again.
The newest line of Pets included a feathery Owl friend named "Hedgewig" who flies through the air behind you and comes in a number of different colors. And a groundhog named "Chuck". Chuck also comes in a range of colors and tends to be very shy - he burrows in the ground behinds you and peeks up through the ground to check out the surroundings when you stop moving!

“With Free Realms, we’ve been able to reflect the needs and wants of our players by keenly listening to their suggestions and feedback,” said John Smedley, president of SOE. “We believe the persistent exercise of capturing in-game research inside Free Realms has been a huge contributing factor as to why we’ve attracted over nine million players in less than a year. It truly helps us give our players a game where they can do and be whatever they want.”
We are now even closer to having 10 million registered players, and I'm sure SOE will hold a huge celebration for that!
"I think we had planned to do something for our ten million mark. We may reach that goal in time for our one year anniversary on April 28th. We'll have more details as we get closer to both those dates."
Also in the press release, there's also small mention to upcoming things in the game!
Introduced last month, Rides not only look cool and come in multiple color choices, but they allow players who have purchased a Membership to hop on the back of a T-Rex or Dragon and travel anywhere in the overland world at 150% of their normal speed. Building on this player-driven feature request, Horses are the next Rides scheduled to be released, with more types of transportation in the works. The development team is also set to introduce new Owl and Groundhog pets, as well as an exciting new 3-D minigame in the near future.
Can't wait to see when those come!
